Hello friends! Wobblerocket is back with another amazing Survivors-Like indie action roguelike gameplay video. We're back for another run through RICE - Repetitive Indie Combat Experience. In this run, we grab the Arbitary hat for a feast-or-famine build style. Unfortunately, we get a ton of unlucky draws, with the game throwing tons of Verdant and Frost cards at us when we're trying to build for Depraved and Flame. Despite the poor pulls, we pick up some great medals like Echo and Halo that help us push through to a third run -- although it ends there almost as quickly as it began.

RICE is yet another entry in the wildly popular bullet heaven style of games popularized by Vampire Survivors, but this one really stands out from the pack with a unique protagonist design and some intricate systems that aren't commonly found in indie bullet heaven games.

Instead of timed runs, you destroy planetoids to gain new weapons and destroy Suns to end each run -- but if you take too long, the horde of enemies will continue to grow. This game is in Early Access on Steam and it's ridiculous inexpensive -- I picked it up on sale for about $1.50. While still in active development, the game is shaping up to be one of the best action roguelikes of 2023.

With tons of unlockable weapons and abilities, and some really unique ability interactions, this game is going to become one of my favorite new indie action roguelikes. I can see myself spending a lot of time on this one.
