Slay the Spire is a roguelike deckbuilder full of carefully calculated attacking, defending, and weighing the tradeoffs in both the short and long terms. https://store.steampowered.com/app/646570/Slay_the_Spire/

The non-commentated Spire Slaying will continue until morale, or at least my throat health, improves. (Although I may end up doing a FiTS daily or a silent HyperRogue run at some point, we'll see.)

Today's run features the Ironclad, and one of his most famed and glorious cards, Fiend Fire. Fiend Fire exhausts your entire hand, to do a multi-hit, one hit for each card you exhaust. (This isn't super clear per the card text, I hope this is the sort of thing that gets improved/clarified in StS 2.) This sounds mildly dangerous or mildly nice, but where things really start taking off is when I can make exhausting things good, and add Strength, because Strength affects each hit of this multi-hit.

The other three characters may need to dig deep and hard to find a good block plan, but it's often nice that Ironclad can just Shrug It Off.
