49Studiomaster Mixdown Gold 40:8:16 - Just purchased this amazing board! 40 channels when the sidecars are all connected into 8 buses, with 16 monitor buses, classic split console layout. To my amazement when it arrived it seems almost brand new! To get similar classic features on a new board today (something like the Toft ATB would be comparable) with the same sound this Studiomaster has would cost thousands.

Testing the main unit channels using a basic line input test, the sound is just incredible! When you run a stereo feed through 2 channels and pan them L/R, the sound just opens up & is SO transparent, but something else is happening, it's harmonically rich and fine and seems to add an air-y-ness to the sound.
4-Band EQ on all main channels with a sweep mid & sweep bass.
The bass EQ Frequency band goes down to 25Hz for adding super low-end for genres like dub & dance music.
These old Studiomaster boards are SOOOO under-rated. A genuine old 'British' mixing console classic which you can still get for reasonable money today.
