After 12 months and a £3 million redevelopment, the American Air Museum at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford has been transformed.

Now boasting 18 historic and contemporary aircraft as well as 850 artefacts, it's the best collection of American aircraft on display outside North America.

The exhibition features a new focus on the personal stories of that come alongside the planes on display.

A new training course teaching soldiers how to prepare for urban operations is underway on Salisbury Plain.

The Urban Instructors Course, which is run by the Infantry Battle School is teaching the tactics needed for future contingency operations.

With 70% of the world's population expected to live in cities by 2045, the British Army know that future conflict is likely to be centred on the urban environment.
