The prologue mission of Styx: Shards of Darkness, played blind on Goblin difficulty. Styx has settled in a town called Thoben, a crime ridden slum that's ideal for the goblin rogue to ply his trade in. Tonight he's been hired to steal money from a tavern.
This came out in 2017 and is the sequel to Master of Shadows (both take place before Of Orcs and Men, Styx's other game). It has similar stealth gameplay, this time with an extra layer of polish, it's really good. Styx can do most of what he could before but also has some new skills and equipment, plus a crafting system.
I'll be playing through the whole game blind on Goblin difficulty and will be going for all token collectibles (Gold Thief Insignia) and no alerts (Gold Shadow Insignia) in every mission. As I want no alerts I will kill myself deliberately if I get caught. I decided against playing on the max Master difficulty as you can't save during zones, not even an autosave. Death happens often in this game, there are lots of bottomless pits and a fair amount of trial and error. You'd really need to know these levels well to get through without dying or saving, which wouldn't make for a very good blind playthrough. Also Styx berates me when I die, and you wouldn't want to miss that, he's pretty harsh. Goblin difficulty is exactly the same as Master difficulty otherwise.
I might do another playthrough where I get the Mercy Golds for not killing enemies and the Swiftness Golds for the fastest times, not sure yet, as I've only just completed this one. (update, I did it, it's in the playlist linked below). Here though, I will be killing and taking my time exploring.
