He believes he pinpointed Malakov´s location but there is not much time as he has a bad feeling they indeed are about to launch nuclear missiles at a location unknown to him.
Still like glue sticking to him, is the US Virgina class. Never has Zenko observed such an agressive trailing by a submarine. The Americans know perfectly well that Zenko is aware of them and it is no question that this is their intent. This is not a stalking but a deterrent "Show Forces" attempt by them. With Russian White Sea assets trying to locate Zenko´s submarine the Americans could falsely gain the impression that it is his submarine going rogue for a coup d'etat. He can´t predict what the Virgina will do will when he opens fire on Malakov and how the world will change when he responds with an attack.
