In this video i will show you the best place for rare resources on the map, is also very easy to find, all you've to do is to go NE until you find the underwater volcano, just keep going using in front of the Aurora as a point of start. Is about 1300-1500 meters from your spawn location. All around the volcano you can find Magnetite, Diamonds, Lithium, Gold, Gel Sack and under it there is a cave network in which you can find tons of Ruby and Uranite Crystal.
You will need to upgrade your oxygen tank and the seamoth to Mk 2 so you can access the resources. I recommend to get one beacon with you and place it there so you can find it easily next time.
