The reason for the signal stop is an irregular event, which isn't specified in detail. For a significant reason, the integrity of the route cannot be guaranteed in the next block, which is why the fail-safe logic of the control and safety technology comes into play here.
This journey excerpt also clearly shows the reaction speed and attention required of a train driver. If there had been a delay in reacting in this situation, the train probably wouldn't have stopped before the main signal.
