I've used a very complex strategy with the Suebi for a long time; get a charge with a unit, follow up with a high charge unit, then cycle charge the high charge unit. The problem was its not effective if your frontline consists of Sword Masters because although they're a good unit, they defeat the purpose because of their cost. Sword Masters imitate Oathsword and other Celtic units and thats a problem since this faction doesn't have the ability to win prolonged fights.

Johann (Lyra) submitted a replay to HeirofCarthage that I took note of; he used the Suebi against the Nomads, a matchup that would have people believe that the Nomads would have the upper hand. As it turns out, however, it was the opposite because the Suebi were more aggressive. Prior to this, he sent a replay that formed the basis of this stream. He cycle charged Bloodsworn into Evocati Cohort and allowed the Bloodsworn to be cost effective in a situation that they should've lost.
