In this video, we break down why Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has received a PEGI 18 rating.

Story:

In pure desperation, our team of anti-heroes if formed by Amanda Waller and released from Arkham in attempt to hold back Brainiacs forces in Super Man’s home city of Metropolis and do the impossible…take down the Justice League who have been seemingly brainwashed by Brainiac.

Age Rating:

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been rated a PEGI 18, meaning the game is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18 years old.
This game has received a PEGI 18 because it features graphic violence and includes uses of strong language.

For example, if a player leaves a mission area for an extended period of time, a bomb inside of the characters head will explode, showing a spray of blood and tissue as their body falls to the ground. There is also the sight of blood when characters take damage.

Cinematic scenes also feature strong violence, including characters being knocked together until unconscious, a character being stamped on and the suggestion of a finger being removed. Although this is not explicitly shown.

When alien enemy characters are hit, they react realistically and there is the sight of blood.

The game also features use of strong bad language, including use of sexual innuendo.

The game also offers players the option to purchase additional, cosmetics-only ‘battle passes’ which include in-game items in the form of outfits, emotes and other items for use in customising characters.

There will also be additional free content added to the game in future updates in the form of ‘seasons’. Each of these seasons will release with the option of purchasing additional premium content in new ‘battle passes’.

It should also be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase the game’s battle passes.

The game released on 2nd February 2024 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X and S and PC.
