Gensō Suikoden: Woven Web of the Centuries or Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki, The final Suikoden Game. Released in 2012 for the PSP, Woven Web of the Centuries is a spinoff title to our beloved Suikoden series. This means that it is completely separate to the world, characters and the lore of the mainline Suikoden games. This is a crying shame since it’s the previously established world, characters and the lore is my favorite thing about the series. This game isn't Suikoden VI 6 but it's still worth playing!

Now, the Woven Web may have been released over 10 years ago, but it was a Japanese exclusive that never left the country. In fact, it still hasn’t. It was only in 2021 that a dedicated group of fans, known as Twisted Phoenix, translated the entire game for us to enjoy. A massive shout out goes to them, for all their hard work, and the great job they did in making this game, finally playable.

So, is the final Genso Suikoden game, Woven Web of the Centuries, worth playing, despite it only being a spinoff? Let’s find out!
