After defeating Liu Yan, we found ourselves heading even more south than expected, almost reaching the Yangtze River. Liu Yan's wife also defected to our side, and brought her knowledge of wedge formation to our Marauder. It baffled me that the Ba sisters, experts of horsewomanship, didn't know what a cavalry formation was.

I also brought up the idea of building trebuchets, only to be shot down by Sui. She only trusted the Qiang people, whose mobile lifestyle made them disregard siege engines. Sigh, city battles are gonna be tough with them.

Wutugu unwisely challenged our control over the area. It's time to show these southern barbarians who's boss.
