Suitless Max% has been an academic challenge in the the Outer Wilds speedrunning community for a while. The goal is to get as much of the ship log filled out as possible without ever putting on a space suit. This cockpit clip gives us a way into the tower which is otherwise inaccessible. In this video I clipped straight through to the room after the first trial, but I was actually just trying to clip through the roof onto the top level. Either way, this lets us get the first log from the tower's interior. There are 2 more ship logs in the tower which are also obtainable, but only on version 1.1.10 with the DLC installed so we can use the real reel glitch which is required to get past one of the trials.
