Summer Game Fest 2023? More like Summer Game SnoozeFest. Please note that this video was recorded on Friday. I will upload a video later in the week discussing the Atlus and Sega jrpgs that were shown off at the Microsoft Showcase later this week. Aside from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and the Persona 3 remake (which wasn't even supposed to be revealed until Sunday), the show was a complete waste of time. And think about that. The fact that two remakes/reimaginings are the best looking games tells you everything you need to know about the state of modern gaming. I understand that I am narrow minded in that I only play jrpgs or games adjacent to them (if you watch the whole video you will see that I praised Mortal Kombat for the fighting game fans, Sonic for the platforming fans, and Like A Dragon Gaiden because it just looks cool), but fps after fps, indie shit, Ubisoft slop.
