Summoner + Shadowblight Leveling Guide for Necro (Tree and Skill Point Allocation in Description)
3This is a Summoner Shadowblight leveling build for the Necromancer in Diablo 4 that I made based of my current necro's build. The build uses your summons to tank, damage, and help with corpse creation to fuel your other abilities. Because summon damage is relatively low at the moment you will be doing a good portion of the damage through Corpse Explosion and Sever, as well as the Shadowblight passive.
You don't have to start with reap if you would rather use another basic skill. If you're playing hardcore or just want extra safety you can take a point in Blood Mist any time after getting Hewed Flesh but you'll have to give up your golem or another spell as you won't have a spot available on your spell bar.

Book of the Dead
When you gain access to the book of the dead you'll want to take the +1 skirmisher upgrade until lvl 12 when you can switch to reapers and take reapers with the 15% chance to create a corpse.
Once you gain access to your mages you'll start with the cold mages and their attacks giving you 2 essence. Once you get the shadowblight key passive you can switch to the shadow mages with every 5th attack they fire an additional bolt.
Once you gain access to your golem you can start it with the bone golem dropping a corpse every 20% of it's HP it loses. The bone golem is very defensive since it taunts when you use it's skill. If you want something more offensive you can use the blood golem with the damage reduction and increased damage. Once you have access to the Iron golem you can pick up the slam applying vulnerable as vulnerable is a strong damage amplifier.
