Sunday Longplay - Zelda 2: Ocarina of Time (NES ROM Hack)

This week on Sunday Longplay, it's another ROM hack for one of my favorite NES games of all time, based on one of my favorite N64 games of all time. Welcome to Zelda 2: Ocarina of Time!
As the hack's title implies, this hack is basically a recreation of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the N64 in the style of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link on the NES. The combination actually works surprisingly well.
You will traverse many familiar locations in this hack, from the Deku Tree to Jabu Jabu's Belly to the dreaded Water Temple (which is thankfully much easier in this hack!) to Gerudo Valley, and eventually ending at Ganon's Castle. However, one new Temple has been added: The Light Temple, which was supposed to be in the N64 game but was cut out of the final product.
Difficulty-wise, the hack is a little harder than the base Zelda 2, but not to the extent of Winter Solstice. Good luck getting the Fairy Spell! That's all.
Conclusion: Zelda 2: Ocarina of Time does its job of blending two different Zelda games together very well, and the end result is one of the best Zelda 2 hacks I've played so far!
