Wow! It's hard to believe its finally done! This is a game I picked up on sale for $2.09 and I've now put 160 hours into it! I had been building up to this for a long time. Using the guides and learning the levels was one thing and I have some failed attempts in the past. This year I decided to make those 30 individual videos for each level to help myself, and anyone else about how to get through them. Quite recently I did Episode 6 single segment for the first time.

So I knew I just had to have enough time and patience to hopefully pull this off. Little did I know that while rushing I'd die in episode 2, a bit embarrassing but managed to recover and slowed down a bit. No armour like later games means you can be so fragile.

You may not know but its the middle of winter and really cold at the moment. Most of the world is suffering through a big heatwave. I was shaking a bit, partly from the cold and a bit from nerves.

I also had my cat jump up and give me a bit of a scare at one point!

Things were going quite well. I was quite excited to get past the rough bits of 4-4, the sheep can block a secret, 5-5 all those ox near the end, and remembering to pick up the last fruit in 5-6 and got the rough secret in 6-1. Since episode 6 was fresh in my mind and my confidence was high I felt I could do it.

I had a bit of a speed wobble in 6-2. I'm not sure if I was panicking, but my eyes and hands weren't keeping up with each other. I managed to calm myself and recover.

However we got to 6-3, I knew what I had to do, had cleared half the animals and went up to get the way to the secret to the secret exit .. however I missed the wall and alerted the deer who started to run .. I was mad with myself .. but knew there was a chance I could recover .. I tried to take it out in one of 2 blocks that wouldn't block the secret .. but sadly it was ruined .. I had to die and then restart with only my basic slingshot and 8 feed. My other weapons, ammo and knapsacks were gone! I thought all hope was lost and quickly lost another life ..

With some sheer determination I managed to push on and get a large feed launcher from a deer and eventually around to the coconut launcher, then the biggest slingshot. I wasn't sure how, but managed to conserve and manage my ammunition and even cleared the hell that is the normal exit! However that only put me on 6-7. 7 Camels were around. It felt like a game of chess, but slowly and surely I managed to find a path to a silver key! This gave me access to the watermelon launcher and basically redemption. The rest of that level was still rough and a few bits tough and go at the end.

I love using lots of watermelons to clear the silver key in 6-6!

It was a lot of relief to finally see that achievement pop. 4 hours of video, 3 hours 30 in game (not automap or level point screens).

This game was something I got into pre recording stuff for Youtube properly when I was more into getting 100% of achievements. Its nice 2.5 ish years later to close that chapter!
