In a rare case of my playing a game in its pure vanilla form without any ROM hacks applied, we dive into Super Adventure Island II, where Master Higgins's honeymoon is interrupted by a sudden storm, resulting in separation and amnesia for both him and his wife, Tina.

Things only get weirder from there as the King of Waku-Waku Island decides to make Tina his queen, only for her to be kidnapped by a giant bird on their wedding day.

So, in short, we're tasked with saving our own bride so she can marry another man while throwing in as many references as possible. And that's just the intro!
