Super Blue Boy Planet Is A Fun F2P Game Worth Checking Out
14I was feeling like playing a platformer today, and remembered checking this game out when it launched a few weeks ago. Sometimes you just don't feel like getting in depth with a long complicated game that takes hours to play. Super Blue Boy Planet is a simple indie game you can jump right into.
The plot is pretty simple. Super Blue Boys girlfriend has been kidnapped by a race of dastardly green aliens. He must run, jump, and glide across 21 stages with his propeller hat to rescue her.
Now I know this game is going to be nominated for indie game of the year, but it actually is a lot of fun. If you are a fan of old-school platform games its definitely worth giving a try. It received very positive reviews on Steam. For being a free to play light weight game you can't go wrong.
Game Description
SBBP is a 2D platformer with pixel graphics. Blue boy’s girlfriend is kidnapped by aliens so he goes through 21 levels to save her and he also fight bosses along the way.
Super Blue Boy Planet is an unusual little platform game with some quirky graphics.
You have navigate the levels avoiding obstacles and creepy crawlies. You can jump gaps and also jump on monsters, both destroying them and getting you further in the same move.
Jumping also lets you activate bridges and other objects, something you need to do in order to progress.
