Super Castlevania IV: Hard Mode, No-Damage, Eternal Candle Challenge [Block 8]
19I thought this was going to be hard. It wasn't.
When I was a kid, I disliked this stage because I found it really difficult, and the next stage, unlike this one, is really pleasant, so this one served like a road block to fun.
Good to know some things only stay in the past, eh?
The only really difficult stunt I pulled was at 2:43. The game VERY SPECIFICALLY wants you to jump over the first two bats, time the third one, then duck and crawl under the eyeball that follows shortly after. Even WITHOUT the conditions of this challenge you are expected to do that because fighting the enemies will only give the crumbling bridge opportunity to catch up to you and dunk you into the poisonous water below. It's kind of bullcrap, but I'm okay with that since the game is boringly easy without the challenge conditions, and could really use more dick moves like this.

Jorge D. Fuentes is proving quite handy. His arranged soundtracks for a lot of castlevania games has made it's way into a lot of the levels in my playthrough, and Block 8 is no exception. Obviously, I used the Block 8 arrange made by him.
As for the boss? ... Well, you'll see.
