We are so back. This is a second story mode that will be added hopefully in time for the holidays! In it, you will be playing as Kranion, the other bosses from Scruffy 3 who haven't returned yet (Spike, Wartnose, Pseudo Scruffy), and last but not least, Kranion's half brother Sticky, his first appearance in a new game in years.
This mode has an entirely different health mechanic compared to the Super Freaks' story. Instead of hearts, every character has an "ego meter." If left unattended, it will gradually lower to 25%. Killing Kranibots and collecting Yorbs will add a little bit of ego to all four players' meters. If a player's meter maxes out, they will enter a temporary invincible mode where they can steamroll through hazards completely unharmed (with the exception of crushing and falling down pits). The end result of this mode is that you'll need to play well to do well. For this reason I recommend you play it after the Super Freaks story.
