Found that if you block his counter-attack when you attempt to punch him while he points at his stomach, you can follow it up by stunning him and getting extra hits. This can be advantageous because now you can get a super knockdown in phase 1 with "bad" luck. This makes it possible to get the lower refill in phase 2, and the lowest refill in phase 3 if everything goes perfectly, saving about 1.5 seconds compared to a regular clown fight. It does have a drawback in that if you don't get the perfect luck, you lose slightly more time than you would otherwise. It's probably worth the risk in most situations.

I use the method from my last clown video to let his stun run out and buffer an uppercut, but it only seems to be useful if he tries to attack you during your 2nd punch. If you do it when he attempts to hit you on the 1st punch, there's a chance it could still dizzy him, but the dizzy meter is extremely strict, making it not worth attempting when that happens.

He can do the counterattack in other spots in the fight too, but I haven't really found a good use for the extra hits elsewhere since it's mostly important just for getting the arrows & the dizzy meter up in phase 1.

Also, I didn't edit this smoothly at all, partly due to being lazy, but at least the strategies & back up variations are there, so it's probably ok.
