I got this game recently used for pretty cheap, so I figured I'd mess with the Punchout times. The leaderboards in the game have replays of the best times, which is really neat! Stage 7 for Punchout pits you against Piston Honda 1 in round 2 with a 56HP refill. I wanted to find a strategy that improved upon the rather simple strategy, and I indeed found something. I got to use an element from McHazard's new TAS in this fight, but it was pretty rough to actually execute when the luck happened to cooperate. I explain alot of the other stuff in the video, but here are the HP breakdowns for the old & new strategies...

Old strategy:

Left gutter, right gutter, left gutter (13 damage dealt)
Star punch into eyebrow pattern (20 dealt, 33 total)
Dodge next jab, stun & star for the KD (3 & 20 damage dealt respectively, 56 total)

New strategy:

Left gutter x 3 (12 damage dealt)
Star punch into eyebrow pattern (20 damage dealt, 32 total)
Counter next jab (5 damage dealt, 37 total)
Max damage star punch (20 damage dealt, 57 total)

That last star punch in the new strategy is everything. If you get a hook instead of Honda standing there, then you will deal 8 damage instead of 20, which is an enormous difference! I believe you also need him to do an uppercut as his next attack, which isn't consistent either; I forget the odds for it happening. Either way, this is theoretically beatable, at least frame-wise, but I'm unsure on if it's enough to push this into a 22.4 or not since 0.1 is obviously much larger than a frame or 2.
