1Do I really need to describe this game?? ok, well for those of you that have never played this or even heard of it, this is the game that started the "Super Mario" craze. No, it's not the first appearance of Mario as of course he came out on Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros (with Luigi) just to name a few. At any rate, you have Mario, our resident plumber that travels through the mushroom kingdom to save the princess. You will play as Mario (or Luigi in two player alternating mode) to work through 8 worlds each with four levels. The fourth level is a boss level. Reach level 8-4 and you'll face THE BOSS (King Koopa or Bowser if you prefer) that holds your princess captive. There are warp zones that allow you to skip levels (I use them in this video) as well as tricks to earn extra lives. Along the way you'll face various enemies such as koopas and goombas. As well as many others. All of them will keep you on your toes. So pick up a controller (if you own this game and a NES or have access to one) or emulate it on your PC. Either way you can't go wrong.
