Super Mario Galaxy starts out with details about a Star Festival that happens once a year with a comet passing the Mushroom Kingdom, which is the start of my Super Mario Galaxy walkthrough guide. In part 1 you can see the introduction movie to the game and story setup, which sees Princess Peach inviting Mario to the castle only for Bowser to turn up with his airship and steal the Princess and the castle away. You then find out that the comet is the passing Observatory of Rosalina and Luma and its up to you to rescue Grand Stars to rescue Peach. You'll also need to find a load of secret stars and purple coins to get the job done 100%.
