Super Mario Maker 2 - My First Two Levels | Yoshi's River Run & An Auto-Mario Castle
My first two levels made in Mario Maker 2.
Course 1:
"Yoshi's River Run" is Forest themed with rising and falling water, with a clear goal to collect 5 of the big "30 Coins" (acting Yoshi's Island Flowers). You also must collect 5 Red Coins to get to the end. It is meant to feel like a Yoshi's Island stage, but it makes heavy use of the On/Off Switches. If you miss a Red Coin or "Flower", there is no easy fail-proof in place, so you'll have to start over or let time run out. But it is pretty linear with arrows and switches.
Course 2:
"Lava! Hang Shell, Mario!" is an auto-run level centered around shell surfing. You only have to move to enter 2 pipes connecting the sub area. Lava rises the whole time, and invincibility stars are everywhere to aid Mario plowing through it all. This one was fun to make.
