Hack Name: Super Mario :p :p :p /PPP
Release Date: 2008
Status: Demo?
Difficulty: Hard

This is an old hack, a very old hack, it came back to me after hearing one bad port of Powell in SMWC, after that i downloaded Zsnes just to play this shit, and oh boy it was average

Notes:
Before anything else, the hack has a Dev option to give you power-ups by pressing Select + B, i say this before someone asks if i used cheat codes or anything like that, i reckon it's not honest at all but it was necessary in some places and in others i used it for fun, anyway let's begin

Level Design:
The level design is kinda clever but it alsoshows it's age with some levels and setups, Castle 1 was heavily focused in thwomps and some setups are basic and repetitive but it also has some clever ones. Switch palace has a mirror gimmick, nothing too bad and kinda fun. Ghost house uses an ON/OFF gimmick to make Mario invisible and let him pass through blocks, with the cape you can cheese some of the setups and make the koopa sections look unnecessary, still a good level. NO JUNP NO LIFE is a spike in difficult, i like the gimmick but the level is just not that good, it has some interesting sections but it's just not that good of a level, it was painful. Cave of L/R has another good idea but the level has questionable setups, i also kinda got mixed up with the controls, it's a decent stage. :P is probably the best stage in the hack, it has a mechanic i don't remember being used in any other hack, being a puzzle level with screens as tests, it's fun, i did however ended using rewinds in the final section out of frustration and because i had one life left, and i didn't wanted to redo the full thing all over again, HOWEVER i ended doing it again Rewindless to compensate, because again, this stage is good. Final Castle is just a boss and oh boi, i hate it, the concept is good but the area is so small and it spawns so much shit to deal with, it really shows the time this hack was made

Music:
Being an old hack this has old ports, some may sound bad but at the time maybe it was the only options available for the person in charge, who knows, it still has a good selection of tracks, Stickerbush symphony, powell, a track of FF4 i forgot the name of, and some others im not a fan of, mostly for how they sound

Graphics:
This hack has some tiles and some rework on sprites but for the most part is vanilla

Veredict:
This hack was a nostalgic trip for me, maybe it wasn't good as i remember but it's not a bad one either, it's decent if anything

6.4/10
