Hack: Super Mario World Challenges
Author: Daizo Dee Von
Difficulty: Very Hard
Lenght: 12 Exits

Alright this hack is a remix of 12 existing stages from SMW making them more harder and challenging, the game has an "Easy Mode" hidden in one stage that would affect your final reward, said Easy mode is the red palace which can be found in stage 1, but anyway tiome to critic because im a jerk

Journey:
---------------------------
Stage 1 - Forest of Memory: Remix of Forest of Illusion 1, this is the original stage with minor edits here and there, covered in ice and blocks from a kaizo hack, nothing too crazy, it's alright for the first stage

Stage 2 - Vanilla Cave 2: Remix of Vanilla Dome 2, this is a flooded "labyrinthic" stage, you pretty much travel through the entire stage via pipes from time to time solving simple "Puzzles". My only complain would be the Yellow Koopa Section as it can be a pain in the ass as small mario, other than that this is an ok stage

Stage 3 - #7 Larry's Castle: Remix of Castle #7, this stage is almost identical to the original aside from the first stage, the changes involves cannon blasters, more spikes and the snake block is shorter so it's more tricky to stand in it, overall this is another ok stage

Stage 4 - Soda Lake: Remix of Soda Lake, this stage is interesting, being completely drained from water you must travel throug the stage backwards using the enemies to help you. My complain would be some enemies are just in the right time to barely make the jumps and some spam of enemies

Stage 5 - Yoshi's Island 1: Remix of Yoshi's Island 1, This stage merges the first and second stage in one, this one felt the most bland of the hack, the only change here is the p-switch section and that's it. My complain is the puzzle itself, i had to use LM for this one as there's no much hints about it so yeah, pretty weak stage here

Stage 6 - Valley Fortubular: Remix of Valley of Bowser and Tubular, This stage is brutal as the originals were already hard, this one increases the speed of the smashers and replaces regular magikoopa with a fire one, the Tubular section is shorter and kinda easy, however the complain i have are the enemies off screen can take you by surprise a few times

Stage 7 - Mario Vs. Big Boo: Remix of the battle in Secret Ghost House, This is just a big boo fight with spikes, nuff said

Stage 8 - Yoshi's House: Not really a remix, more of a final reward thing, the original had a badge supposedly, now it unlocks more stuff for you to do

Stage 9 - Valley of Bowser 3: Remix of Valley of Bowser 3, this one has more tight jumps in platforms and koopas as well as featuring the rocket barrel, my complain is the koopa next to the midpoint being of screen, you either jump or scroll the screen, as well as spawnin at the edge of the ledge

Stage 10 - Butter Bridge 1: Remix of Butter Bridge, this one is an autoscroller, and with that we started badly, the stage is filled with saws, koopas, obstacles and one tile platforms (Blocks) that you need in order to beat the stage and the BG is from Kirby's Adventure, more precisely Butter Building

Stage 11 - Donut Plains 3: Remix of Donut Plains 3, this is probably my favorite stage of the hack, having the screen locked and finding solutions to progress and hit the ON/OFF Switches, it still can be a pain to travel throug the stage tho

Stage 12 - #22 Great Castle: Remix of Almost every castle in the game, this stage remixes Back door, Castle 2, Castle 3, Door 6, Forest Secret Fortress and castle 4 for the final stage, this is a decent stage to finish the hack altought the castle 3 section can be very precise to navigate, the final boss is tricky to beat but not a bad stage overall

Credits: Just a copy paste of the Secret Area with info boxes and 2 gates of Yoshi coins, depending on how you completed the game (With Red Switches or without them) you get 2 different endings, and to be honest i prefer the ending with the switch pressed, for one, i don't like the "Gamer" meme, and two, your entire journey was for wood, both rewards sucks but at least one of them makes sense in the context of the hack
---------------------------

Conclusion:
This hack is challenging and fun, but it can be underwhelming at times with the edits, the other criticism i have is that there's no YC counter in the OW, thus making it hard to keep track of the coins
