Lazy Shell Weapon and Lazy Shell Armor can be obtained from the Gardener in Rose Town after you have collected the Seed and Fertilizer and have beaten the boss Valentina in Nimbus Land. Equip the Lazy Shell Weapon to Mario and do what you want with the Lazy Shell Armor has a pretty significant drop in attack power and magic attack. The Seed is picked on a note left by a Shy Away after the Megasmilax battle and you can get the Fertilizer from the Shy Away after Valentina battle when the secret path opens up. Now you can move on with story to Barrel Volcano or try for 100 Super Jumps before moving on.
