The Hammer Bros. block the way to the Mushroom Kingdom. Each has 50 HP and simple attacks. They can either hit Mario with their hammers as a basic attack, or use Hammer Time to strike him several times for greater damage. The remaining Hammer Bro will also cast Valor Up after his partner falls, increasing his own defensive strength for the rest of the fight.
