Geno will join you to fight Bowyer, the second Smithy Gang commander, at the end of the Forest Maze. Bowyer mostly uses archery-based techniques, but can also cast Static Electricity to hit the entire party; his arrows can function as both a basic attack and one that inflicts sleep on its target. However, his most prominent gimmick is shooting an arrow into one of three buttons, representing the Y, X and A buttons on the controller. When one of the buttons is hit, that corresponding function is shut off until Bowyer shuts off a different one, thus leaving you unable to use your magic attacks, items, or basic attacks.
