Super Mario Sunshine: Gooper Blooper Breaks Out - 149 Coins Collected (Max Coins)
2The hardest part of this mission by far is collecting all of the coins above the Ricco Tower, since there is no rocket nozzle present in this mission. You can access these coins in two ways: either by using glitchy wall kicks (which I seem to be incapable of doing in 3D All-Stars) or from what I do in this video. The amount of momentum, positioning of the bounce, timing of the spin jump, and timing of the hover nozzle are all important to get the uppermost coin above the tower. In this attempt, I actually got such a good launch that if I hadn't ground-pounded, I would have *overshot* the coins!
As for the rest of the mission, just be careful of not knocking the bloopers into the water, and make sure you have 106 coins before starting the boss fight, as additional enemies and coins spawn in after the boss fight begins.
