Stage 3 is bit of an easter egg like stage....wanted to plat Super Mario and Touhou at the same time with a bit of Megaman? Now you can!
It is not that hard even though it started to feel more of that Cat Mario game in the end....doable still...
As for the boss.....uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that was bit more difficult...especially because you are locked to Marisa only...ohh that is only a problem for me because I gave her bad weapons....anyway... ^^
Alice on the other hand gets to loot books....alone...must be hard...well..it is....
Did you like those bunnies with the space ships? No? Well TOO BAD! You have to play with them again...
Stage 4 has a shortcut teleporter which you MUST use....or this stage becomes practically impossible....
If you survive all bunnies and jumping you have a boss fight once again to beat...well....use the dark side...and first time Youmu weapon was useful against something...do not judge me for that!
If we keep this up we might end up with 6 stages like in a regular Touhou game...
