This medley is EXTRA late! It's been over a week since I was supposed to upload it but whatevs, I'll be caught up by the next cover as usual!

A while ago when me and some other fellow youtube musicians were working on the Secret Musician Project, my original plan was to have Ro play bass on my track for it. I ended up deciding it wouldn't really make sense do to a collab on an album like that, and so I told Ro to choose another song form my list of covers I was planning. We decided on Super Metroid, and oh boy am I ever glad we did. This turned out so AWESOME RO THANK YOU! Ro did FANTASTIC with playing bass and also throwing in an awesome guitar solo! If you don't know him, you should definitely take a peek at his stuff, it's a million times better than mine :D

So this is my first Metroid cover! I've actually never played a Metroid game other than the first one for the NES (which is way too hard btw), but I thought I'd do this medley anyway because this soundtrack is awesome! When I first heard these songs, my first impression was "this would sound so great in a metal song", and so it worked out :D

I think this is my best sounding thing yet. I feel like my mixing on this medley is like twice as good as it was on any other track of mine, but I could be wrong. I also made a new lead tone because I wasn't really happy with the other one I've been using. I never thought I'd say this but I've actually gone back to using PodFarm for my new lead tone. I'm getting better results with it than I am in Bias it seems :)
