Lavender Town again?!?! What?! Let me explain...

Original "Missing Frequencies" version of Lavender Town: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7bSdelrbt0

A few years ago, a YouTube user by the name of Intrawl uploaded a video called "Lavender Town The Missing Frequencies." For some reason very recently, the video was taken down. Thankfully there were plenty of reuploads. So the video linked above isn't really the original video, but I'm pretty certain they're the exact same.

So basically there's this dumb creepypasta about how there were these weird frequencies hidden in the original Lavender Town theme. I'm not going to get into this theory, because it's been proven false many times. But if you're interested in finding out more, go read the full creepypasta here: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Lavender_Town:_Missing_Frequencies

Why did I decide to do Lavender Town again this year? Lavender Town, in my opinion, is one of the best Pokemon songs ever. I absolutely love the song. I just think that the song has been covered a million times already and I don't really know how I would make an original arrangement of that right now. So that's why I like to do these weird creepypasta versions of the song.

This song was a bit difficult to start working on. If you listen to the original missing frequencies song, you'll notice that it sounds almost the exact same as the normal Lavender Town theme. The only different sections are at 3:00, where the ghost first appears, and then at 9:00, where the ghost appears again followed by the unowns spelling out "Leave now." From that part at 9:00 to the end, is where the song takes an interesting turn, and that's the part I mostly covered!

Thanks to my friend Alejandro (AHmusic), I found this program called "Virtual ANS", which allows me to do a lot of things with sounds and frequencies. I was asking him how I could recreate that section at 3:00 and 9:00 of the original song, and it worked perfectly. I was able to import a picture of the ghost and the unowns, and turn it into sounds o_O it's really weird but I think it turned out great!

Filming this sucked. As you might be able to tell, I'm trying to make my videos a bit more interesting and fun to watch visually, and this video was by no means an exception. If you wanted to know, the fake blood is actually a mixture of chocolate syrup and cherry kool-aid xD it actually didn't taste terrible. This was the first video I used the FCP filter called "Handheld", and I really like how it looks! :D

Although I am very nervous to release this, I personally think this is my best video to date, and I hope you guys can agree. You might have noticed that this video came out two days earlier than normal because of Halloween being today, so I did have a bit less time than normal to put this video together. I wonder what my Halloween cover will be next year. Let's just hope it's not Lavender Town again... xD

I'll see you guys in two weeks! :D
