This is a run on the PAL version of Super Metroid running on an NTSC Console at 60hz instead of 50hz, with DEBUG Mode enabled. When DEBUG mode is enabled on PAL, press the B Button on Player 2 to change the way you interact with Samus which has a huge impact on the physics of the game.
