スーパーミニプラ 真ゲッターロボ Super MiniPla Shin Getter Robo unboxed and built!
30Time to build the titular robot from the Change Getter Robo OVA series from quite a few years back!
I think this is the first time a plastic model kit for Shin Getter Robo has been released at a reasonable price. Prior to the super minipla the only plastic version I can think of was a crappy series of crane prize blind boxes that Banpresto released as prizes a good 20 something years ago. Everything else has been either expensive resin or limited collector models from the likes of Aoshima or Kotobukiya.
But now the masses can have their Shin Getter machines!
I felt like some of the joints on my models were a bit loose, especially in the legs. I will fiddle with it when I return home and hopefully get it straightened out.
The real challenge is going to be acquiring the rest of the Shin Getter and Getter G series, as from what I can tell they were online exclusives and are already commanding high prices here in Japan.
An interesting thing is that the later releases included optional bits for Shin Getter 1 as well- new wings are in the Shin Getter packs, and a battle axe is in the Getter G packs.
I am unsure if I should hold out hope for machines like Getter Ark or the Getter Emperor
