Info: I can say that I've officially returned back to my old pace of making levels. Pretty much got my motivation back for SMW hacking, which I'm glad because I really do enjoy level making. Anyways, here's the 2nd level of Area 12 "The Frozen Lands." Though this level isn't quite frozen yet but you can see signs of it about to freeze over. (Ice Blocks.) Like I would usually say, let's talk about the level.

The first part of the level takes place in a small forest area while the second area takes place somewhere different. The gimmick for the whole level...is pretty simple actually. It's melting the ice blocks with fire flowers, though it's executed differently and probably for the better.. You don't have to find a Fire Flower inside a coin block nor do you have to kill yourself or use a rest pipe/door when you lose the power up. The plants placed around the level provide the power up and once you lose it, all you have to do is go to the plant again to regain the power up. The only downfall is having to back track but I made sure the player doesn't have to back track that far back. The good thing is, most if not all the enemies will probably be cleared out when you come back to where you need to be.. Only the 16/16 ice blocks can be melted as the bigger ice blocks can't by the way.

The second part of the level takes place much higher up which is also why the background is changed. Your basically doing the same thing but now your going upwards and the enemies and the design is different. Not much needs to be explain here. This level is actually really difficult, though for where it's placed in the game, it should be. This is even despite the easy access Fire Flowers. The good news is, every enemy can be killed by the fire balls except the Mega Moles. Speaking of Moles, I didn't add in that many Monty Moles for the sake of making the level more difficult. I actually really wanted to make a level with a ton of Monty Moles in it. (True Story.)
