SMW Custom Level - Bullet Station (W.I.P)
Whoa, hadn't realized it's been pretty much a couple months since I last worked on this hack. Well it has nothing to due with motivation or even inspiration. (Time? maybe.) It's for the main reason, Yoshi's Rescue Mission had my attention for awhile since I was trying to get it released during for C3. Since I no longer plan to release it then, I decided to get back to working on this hack........because I miss chocolate hacking. That's not to say the Yoshi hack isn't coming al along at all as it's a little more then halfway finished.
Info: I usually don't show work in progress videos but I decided to show one of a level I'm currently working on. I still plan to show the full level video when it's finished. So far, I'm just getting back into the swing of things, since this hack has a different style compare to the first hack. There isn't any real gimmick to this first part of the level aside from the extending metal bridges and the climbable metal ropes. However, there are newer troops in this level which I will explain.
Red Chucks: Take 10 hits to kill and resist fire balls. Also plan for them to take more then normal Chucks. You can kill these guys but the main objective is to avoid fighting them unless you have something that can easily eliminate them. (Capes or Shells will do.)
Cannon Koopa Green: Shoots two bullet bills at once and takes two jumps to kill.
Cannon Koopa Red: Will either shoot bullet bills or spawn bomb bombs. Takes 3 hits to kill and will start to shoot an extra projectile on it's last HP.
So yeah, these are more advance troops and also tougher to deal with. The level is coming along though my only problem is trying to add more decoration. (My usual problem when it comes industrial levels.)
Anyways, comments and feedback are always appreciated. I'd like to hear your thoughts for this one.
