Super Paper Mario Low Level Bosses: Sammer Guy Tournament (1/3)
1I know this isn't really a boss, but it's one of the few moments in the entire game where your forced to fight a large number of enemies. Plus there are some great lines here.
Info:
In order to get the next Pure Heart, Mario and co must defeat King Sammer's 100 Sammer Guys. You fight each in turn, individually. If it sounds insane, don't worry, you only end up having to fight the first 20.
I highly recommend using Bowser here, the extra power helps, and his flaws don't show much in 1-on-1 combat. Barry the pixel works wonders, so be sure you have him.
Most of this is fairly straightfoward, there are a few special cases though:
#4: Squatting Birdo
This is the first appearence of Ninjoes. In certain battles, you'll face these ninja-like enemies in addition to your main opponent. Their main purpose is just to get in the way, but they are fairly fast. (which is a problem for Bowser more than anyone else)
#8: Guy who Fry
From this point on, the blue Sammer Guys will use jump attacks. If they open the battle with one (a common occurence) use Barry with exact timing to counter.
Some of the Sammer Guys have spiked helmets, making them immune to jumps. Use Crudge, Barry or Bowser's fire breath to attack them.
