Super Robot Wars X + DLC Gameplay Chapter 4 - Battler Errant
Super Robot Wars X''' (スーパーロボット大戦X) is a game from the Super Robot Wars series released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on March 29, 2018 in Japan. The game also received a physical and digital release in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia) on April 26, 2018 with English subtitles.
After failing to take out Wataru for Kurama accidentally foil the plan, Cruising Tom told him that Doakdar seems to have taken an interest in Nadia (Maybe she has something that caught Doakdar's attention). When Kurama asks why but Tom doesn't know the reason as he had his own job to do to keep himself busy while Kurama told himself that he had to make the mission successful no matter what.
Meanwhile...somewhere in the forest, Iori is having a deep thought that causes Spero to suggest voicing out his thought to others and Masaki begged Iori to tell him what he was thinking as it's not difficult to tell what's in his mind. Masaki understands that Iori was being antsy with otherworlder keep coming to Al-Warth and Iori talked back that everyone who joined him was an exception compared to the general otherworlder he met being empty shell from the event. Wataru said that they got Masaki and Grandis joining the journey so if any otherworlder summoned to Al-Warth, they can just ask for them to join the group with Iori commented Wataru as optimistic and the boy took it as a compliment. Iori wonders if such a solution would work on anyone coming to Al-Warth and Jean doubts that Neo Atlantian would join them as they were the ones targeting Nadia for the jewel. As Jean mentioned someone with a robot just like Masaki's Cybuster forced into war assets, something flew past them much to everyone's surprise. Spero suggested a speed enhancement Dogma but Iori hadn't learned such magic yet but Himiko managed to catch it with her fly-catching technique. The fast creature turns out to be a fairy.
At the same time, Tod and Sho got summoned to Al-Warth when both of them were supposed to be dead. As they did a truce with each other, an army of Drumlos appear. After several turns, the fairy named Chum returns to Sho with the group bringing the Dunbine to him so he can join the fight and at the next turn, Tod defect to the enemy side just like how the Aura Battler conflict began (Why are you so easy to get insanely jealous of Sho? Is it just because he is greater than you?). Wataru tries to convince the enemy despite misspelling Aura as Aural (Funny but makes sense since he was still in 4th grade so some words can be hard to spell out for him) but failed as the Drumlos army already had the order to shoot the Savior on sight.
One thing to be noted in this chapter of the game is that the Super Robot or in this case SR point of a specific character from the older game return. Tod may not join the group but if you had Sho fight him once and used persuade command on him with Sho, you got 2 points of recruiting him and joining the group in a later chapter. As for when and in which chapter he will join, I forgot about that already as I finished the game last year and didn't remember how and when to recruit some characters but all I know is that you need to have characters related to the specific villain character to face each other in order to make these villain join in future chapters. This is why I didn't upload this chapter 4 as I want to try recruiting as many main characters or villains to join the group if possible for the True Ending.
Note for every Super Robot Wars game: Each character has their own respective soundtrack just like the classic Super Robot Wars series. Each soundtrack's right of the game belongs to its respective owner. I have no right for these game soundtracks cause they came from the game itself
