Super Robot Wars 30 + DLC Gameplay (Real Route) Chapter 2 - League Militaire
Super Robot Wars 30 is a tactical RPG playing game developed by B.B. Studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. It is released as part of Super Robot Wars' 30th anniversary. Players follow characters through adventure and battle. Take control of giant robots on a battle map, commanding them to defeat their enemies.
30 years on, the battle for our world's future continues.
The gameplay is similar with older SRW games. The battle switches between ally and enemy phases. Once the player has moved and attacked with their robots, the enemy takes their turn. When all enemies have been defeated, the game proceeds to an Intermission. During Intermission, the player can use resources earned in battle to train pilots, upgrade robots, and earn bonuses for their army. They then can proceed to the next chapter of the adventure.
A new gameplay in SRW 30 is a term called "AOS Update" which literally mean upgrading the mothership's AI. AOS Update has 6 room sections that can be upgraded:
- Bridge (Focuses on Dresstreiger's accuracy and Mitsuba's skill command influence range)
- Hangar (Focuses on decreasing cost of both weapon and unit upgrade, Engine Room (The room for Dresstreiger's AI. Focuses on the ship's internal upgrade)
- Training Room (Focuses on increasing pilot's stat points for close and ranged attack)
- Quarters (Focuses on increasing pilot's SP recovery points every turn)
- Lab (Focuses on increasing points for MxP for AOS Update, EXP, and money for Unit Upgrade)

I came back to play this game once again after probably a year or so. So in this chapter, the game introduces you to gameplay that you may not be familiar with for the first time. While older games let you pick a path by picking the path option when the dialogue between characters prompts it, this 30th-anniversary game lets you go to any location of the available mission which is known as "Move" in the Intermission menu. Missions here range from the main mission to the Relic mission. Relic mission put the team to search for Relics in that area you picked (Such as Relic of Steel or Relic of Aegis but to get the main character's opposite gender, I'm telling you....you need to complete Relic of Gold. I will explain more about that when I start that mission) while the main mission means continuing the plot and each path may continue a specific character's series or get new characters from different series and also, the interaction differ depending on which character you want to get first in the mission branch. In this case, I will continue Uso or Victory Gundam's plot which introduces more characters from that series and to get the point for recruiting Katejina later. I can also pick the Majestic Prince mission first to get the new characters but since I can't go back once I chose the mission, the only thing I can show later is the reaction of the MJP characters when you get them first and choose to continue V Gundam's plot afterward (I can try even though I haven't tried it before)
Note for every Super Robot Wars game: Each character has their own respective soundtrack just like the classic Super Robot Wars series. Each soundtrack's right of the game belongs to its respective owner. I have no right for these game soundtracks cause they came from the game itself
Enjoy :-)
