A full round of the boardgame Smash Tour rounds in Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo Wii U, Billy Mays (SunBurntKen), Morgan Freeman (MacDaddyNook), King Leonidas (AI) and The Burger King (AI) travel around the Medium Board in search of power-ups and playable characters.

In Smash Tour, players pick Miis to traverse the board with. The goal of this mode is to collect as many power-ups and characters as possible within a set number of turns. There are five checkpoints, appearing as colored fortresses, that will award stat boosts if that player passes through all of them during the course of the game. After the final turn has passed, players will duke it out in a final battle in which each character acts as a stock life and the goal is to score as many KOs as possible (making it a sort of time/stock mode hybrid).

Trophies act as items in this mode and can be collected by traveling along the board as well as one given to each player at the start of every turns, excluding the first. These can be used to set traps or enhance movement on the board or as single-use power-ups or items to use in battle depending on the trophy.

When any player runs into another during the board mode, a randomly chosen stock battle or minigame will commence. Each play will, mandatorily, bet one of their characters they have collected on the board, if that player has any, in hopes of winning the trophy item offered. Being KOed in a battle will forfeit the character bet and the winning player will gain the most recent character that player KOed in that battle.

Other events such as boss battles, having the board obscured or characters carrying goodies for the players will happen on random turns as well.
