This battle is two stock and hazards off, and with no items. Since the walls on Shadow Moses Island can be destroyed using attacks, but as hazards are not on, they cannot be attacked, making this harder.
For my next few characters, I use random.org and generate the next 8, or 10 characters depending on how many videos I upload for the weekend, and characters that I have used in the last 3 weeks cannot be used, this is to add variety, as there are over 70 playable characters in this game, and it would be boring to see the same character over and over again. I go into List Randomizer, enter all the available characters, then pick the first 8 characters on that list, those will be the characters I will use for this weekend session. As Samus was the first character on the list, this is who I am using in this battle. For alternate costumes, I randomize a number between 1 to 8, so in this case, I got the 7th alternate costume, which is the Light Suit.
I did do a Team Battle before then, it was on Wily Castle in Battlefield form, I was teamed up with another Samus player against Snake and Ridley, and only Poké Balls and the Smash Ball were in that battle, even though my team had a good advantage in the first half, the opposing team ended up winning that battle, and because I didn't find it entertaining to me, I decided not to upload that battle, I wish there was a way to pair up with other players based on the same preference, because I don't like having no item battles, Smash 4 had two modes, and it was great to those who wanted to have items on, or only fight on Omega Mode stages without items, but now they removed it.
Speaking of Snake, he does not get new or updated codecs in this game, this was likely because Takeshi Aono, the Japanese voice actor of Colonel Roy Campbell, died after the release of Brawl, and he never appeared in any future Metal Gear game out of respect for Aono. This shows that Konami takes Japanese voice actors very seriously, and if that voice actor dies, that character is retired forever.
