New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Playthrough 20: The Road to Superstar
1I have completed the main story, and here is the aftergame for New Super Mario Bros. U, World 9 is the secret world, and to unlock it, you need to have collected every Star Coin from a specific world. As I have collected all the Star Coins before World 9, the true challenge in Superstar Road begins.

In order to access the levels in Superstar Road, you will need to have collected all the Star Coins from a specific world, so in order to access the first level, Spine-Tingling Spine Coaster, you have to collect all the Star Coins in Acorn Plains.
This is similar to New Super Mario Bros. Wii where if you collect all the Star Coins, you can do World 9.
The Mushroom Houses in Superstar Road contain both the Penguin Suit and the Propeller Suit, as well as the Super Crown.
Spine-Tingling Spine Coaster is the first level, and it requires having all the Star Coins from Acorn Plains. This level is not only a Spine Coaster level, but it is infested with Big Fuzzies, so having a Fire Flower will help you out.
Here's where the tricky part comes, after collecting all the Star Coins from Layer-Cake Desert, we get the best name for a level, Run for It. This level has P Switches and coins, so timing is required, the P-Acorn breaks this level, and while I try not to show it too often, I only use it when I feel like the level is very tough.
Swim for Your Life! is home to a Cheep Chomp, or Bubbas as they were called back in Super Mario 64, and not to be confused with Big Bertha from Super Mario Bros. 3. There are many Urchins in this level, but the Penguin Suit is very helpful for this level, but it is very tough without power-ups. To unlock this level, you have to collect all the Star Coins in Sparkling Waters.
Hammerswing Caverns tests your timing, and you have to collect all the Star Coins in Frosted Glacier to unlock that level. This level also recommends using the Super Acorn or Peachette, but the Propeller Suit is a good power-up for this level as well. This level has many Buzzy Beetles and Koopa Troopas, and those hammer platforms swing back and forth.
