Super Smash Bros Wii U Part 2: Team Battle (60FPS): BLG VS GAMEFACE
Super Smash Bros for Wii U: Team Battle! It's a Channel VS Channel showdown as Ian and Brandon from BornsLosersGaming take on Max and Lin From GameFace in an online 2V2 battle! This is Part 2 of our best out of 7 games. Man, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U looks kickass in 60 fps :)
In this episode we dude it out at Hyrule Temple, Dr. Wily's Castle, and Final Destination.
My short ssb Wii U review says that it has been amazing so far. I've been a huge fan of Smash Bros. since Super Smash Bros. 64. Got into the competitive scene in Melee, and started to slow down a bit in Brawl. Project M has resparked my desire to play competitively again, and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U has gotten me more excited about Smash than I have been for a long time. The gameplay just feels so right to me, and there's a ton of characters I want to use. So far I've been using Mario, Dr. Mario, Pikachu, Bowser Jr., Zelda, Animal Crossing Villager, Sonic, and some Greninja, Ness, Rosaline & Luma, and Wii Fit Trainer. My opponents in this video used Sonic, and Diddy Kong. The Sonic wasn't too good, but the Diddy beat me in some relatively close matches. I hear Diddy Kong is pretty Top tier as well. I think I've had the most trouble fighting Zero Suit Samus and Sheik.
The Super Smash Bros Wii U gameplay is tons of fun in all aspects. The main attraction, 1v1 and free for alls are a ton of fun, and the 8 player Smash is surprisingly entertaining! Did not really expect to get any enjoyment out of that, but I love it! There's plenty to do in single player, and the online in Super Smash Bros Wii U actually works! This is extremely exciting to me. Playing with friends over the internet has been really solid, with some instances where I forgot I was playing online. I'm excited to see how tournaments go down the road.
Amiibos are really interesting too. They really feel like they are developing and learning from you. They get pretty tough as they get closer to level 50 too!
I just have a few small nitpicks with Smash Wii U. I like the inclusion of Omega stages, but it would have been even cooler to be able to further select battlefield versions of each stage, as well as just turn off stage hazards. The stage selection for this game is just a tad smaller than usual too. Lots of returning stages especially from Brawl. I'd love to see some more 64 stages, and there's a few specific favorites I'm missing. Maybe I'm being greedy though. I can always just create stages in stage creator!
It's interesting to see how the game will evolve since patches can actually be released in Smash Wii U & 3DS. They're already patched a number of things like Vectoring, Bowsercide, Rosalina, and stuff like that.
