Let's Play Conker's Bad Fur Day Part 9!

An excellent Action-Platformer for the N64 by Rare. This is one of my all time favorite games, and I'm stoked to be able to share the experience with you guys :) This full walkthrough of the Conker's Bad Fur Day Story Mode is starring Max, Lin and Mack.

I have really fond memories surrounding Conker's Bad Fur Day. I absolutely loved every aspect of the game when I got it at release, and I took every opportunity I could get to show off the various highlights of the game's single player campaign at social gatherings, as well as play the muliplayer for hours and hours. Seriously, I still play botht he singleplayer and multiplayer in Conker to this day. Some of my favorite segments to show off were The Great Mighty Poo, Mr. Scarecrow Birdy, the Gregg The Grim Reaper Scene, The big breasted sunflower, Rock Solid, The Raptor scene at the collosseum with the huge cave man, and busty cavewomen, various scenes from the War, The Matrix level, and the final boss.

I love all the parodies, I love the challenging levels, I love the dialogue, the story, the characters, the voice acting, the controls, the multiplayer, everything man. I'm obviously a huge rare fan, and to me nothing beats Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day.

I will note that I am not a fan of the Xbox remake Conker: Live and Reloaded. I felt that the new graphical style dulled down the game's character and appeal to me. I hated that they scrapped the original multiplayer mode and didn't really like the new one. Honestly, a HD release of Conker's Bad Fur Day untouched, running at 60fps would be completely amazing. That's all I want.

Speaking of which, I should note that we're playing this game on Project64, a Nintendo 64 emulator. This is because it looks and run beautifully compared to the original version. The game was a little to awesome for it's own good, and the framerate suffered at times. It looks awesome on the emulator, although we ran into an issue. Keep in mind that the first 10 episodes of the game don't have any shadows, which made the platforming segments a little tricky.

The story in Conker's Bad Fur Day is amazing by the way. Conker gets drunk with his friends before they go fight in... some war or something. As he stumbles home, he accidentally takes the Nasty Path instead of the Nice Path, and things start going wrong. He ends up passing out, and you wake up to a splitting hangover. So.. you have to try to get home basically. Meanwhile, the Fairy Panther King has a wobbly table, and his milk keeps spilling onto the floor. We soon learn that to correct this, they need to find a Red Squirrel to put in the gap that's causing the table to wobble. And there you go! That's the story. Let's Do This Thing! :D
