Super Win the Game Demonstrative Review
1Super Win The Game is a 2D adventure game with metroidvania elements. Similar to the first game, but this time you are searching to find the six pieces of the king's heart to restore the land. There is an overworld map for traveling to different locations. All other locations take on a side-scrolling 2d metroidvania like design. You can find items and powerups which are needed to reach certain areas. Bells act as checkpoints/savepoints. You die in one hit, but respawn instantaneously next to the last bell you touched. Keys found throughout the game can be used on any locked door. You can buy more keys if you need to.
This game adds a map so you can see the general layout of each area. There's music! There are more abilities to gain and optional challenges to attempt. There is some story to experience (unlike the first game). This game is easily twice as long as the first. The achievements for this game can all be done in a single playthrough (if you know what to do beforehand).
There is no other mode or difficulty for the main campaign like there was in the first game. Although the optional more difficult areas may make up for this.
Recommendation:
If you haven't played the first game "You Have to Win the Game", then go check that out first since your abilities are very similar in both games. This game has some differences to the presentation and structure, but you'll likely still enjoy it if you liked the first game.
