Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor Demonstrative Review
5Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor feels like a sim game. You go around picking up trash and either burning or keeping it to make a living. Early on you get cursed and your main goal in the game is to break the curse through exploration and quests. There is no combat, just exploration of the city and talking to a lot of people who may or may not tell you anything helpful. Part of the game's fun is figuring out HOW to play/win. The game tells you there is no way to "lose" but if you don't know what you need to do to "win" you find yourself in a very grindy game when you eventually find out what you are supposed to do. You have to learn how to make enough money to pay for things you need to advance while also feeding and taking care of yourself. I took about 10 hours to beat the game, but I think it would easily be half that time if you know what you're doing. While I don't personally recommend this game, I wouldn't say it is a bad game. It's just not my kind of game.
