3Welcome on down to another edition of Arcade Appreciation fellow Dazzlers and New Players alike! Razzle Joestar here bringing you Tempest, a classic, knob-twisting game where you blast perplexing alien monsters!
I used to actually play Tempest a lot as a younger fen, as it was on the good ol' "Microsoft Return of Arcade". Or was it the "Revenge of Arcade"? Either way, I just severely dated myself!
The game is simple, but tricky. Navigate your yellow ship around the outer rim of the level to blast the alien monsters. Watch out, though! Later levels throw in more hazards, such as aliens that make spikes that will shatter your ship as you progress to the next stage.
Another game that I really like playing, but unfortunately, am not too good at. But hey! As long as we have fun, right?

The version used in this video was the "rev 3, Revised Hardware" version. The screen was slightly brightened in MAME to make it easier to see.
